Brandir (geboren 409 E. Z.) war ein Mensch aus dem Haus Beor und Onkel Brandir des Lahmen.
Beschreibung
Brandir war das älteste Kind von Arachon und Bregil. Seine jüngere Schwester Beldis heiratete Handir von Brethil und ihr Kind, Brandir der Lahme, wurde nach seinem Onkel benannt.[1]
Etymologie
Der Name Brandir ist eine Komposition aus brand und dîr, was „adeliger Mann“ bedeutet.[2]
