Asphodel Lochner (Original Asphodel Burrows; bei Krege Asphodele Wühler) ist im Legendarium ein Hobbit aus dem Auenland. Sie war eine Tante von Frodo Beutlin.
Beschreibung
Asphodel Lochner war eine geborene Brandybock. Sie war die älteste Tochter von Gorbadoc Brandybock und Mirabella Tuk. Sie hatte vier ältere Brüder: Rorimac, Amaranth, Saradas und Dodinas, und zwei jüngere Geschwister: Dinodas und Primula. Primula Brandybock war die Mutter von Frodo Beutlin.
Asphodel heiratete Rufus Lochner. Die beiden hatten einen Sohn, der Milo hieß.[1]
Asphodel war Gast auf Bilbos Abschiedsfest.[1]
Sonstiges
In der vierten Version des Stammbaumes der Familie Brandybock hieß das fünfte Kind von Mirabella Tuk und ihrem Mann (der noch Gorboduc Crassus hieß) nicht Asphodel, sondern Basilissa. Ihr Mann hieß nicht Rufus Lochner, sondern Fulvus Lochner. Ihr Sohn hieß nicht Milo, sondern Crassus.[2]
