Von 1930 bis 1947 lebte Familie Tolkien in der Northmoor Road 20 in Oxford, England, Großbritannien.
Am 3. Dezember 2002 enthüllte Tolkiens Tochter Priscilla eine sogenannte "Blue Plaque" am Haus, die darauf hinweist, dass Tolkien dort wohnte.
