Otto Boffin, auch genannt Otto der Dicke (original: the Fat), ist im Legendarium ein Hobbit aus dem Auenland.

Otto Boffin war der Sohn von Bosco Boffin, er heiratete Lavender Gruber und hatte zusammen mit ihr vier Kinder namens Hugo, Uffo, Rollo und Primrose.
Ottos Spitzname lässt darauf schließen, dass er äußerst füllig war.
