Sie dienen als Grabstätten der Könige von Rohan. <br /> <br /> ==Beschreibung==<br /> Es gibt zur Zeit des [[Ringkrieg]]es insgesamt 16 Hügel: 9 auf der rechten und 7 auf der linken Seite. Die 9 auf der rechten Seite sind die Gräber der ersten Linie Rohans, also von [[Eorl]] bis [[Helm]]. Die 7 Gräber auf der linken Seite sind die der zweiten Linie Rohans, also von [[Fréaláf]] bis [[Thengel]]. Nach seinem Tod wurde auch [[Théoden]] in einem Grab auf der linken Seite begraben.
